We welcome groups almost all year around. There are several ways of organising group visits. One way is bringing your own food and rent the café for your meeting. Another is to order tea and coffee in advance.
We also advice larger groups to call in advance and make a reservation.
Our only condition is that you buy a safari ride. It is not permitted for visitors to walk around the enclosure as this can disturb the moose.

Safari

Our two safari jeeps take 16 passangers each, more if several passengers are children. Everyone can join the jeep ride, from very small children (in their parents arms or on their lap) to older people, as the step up on to the jeep is not very high. The jeep can also take one wheelchair. We do the safari tour about once every hour.

The Moose Barn

We have built a café and moose shop in our old barn. You can have tea and coffee either in the antique furnished loft or outside with a view over part of the enclosure and the ponds. You can buy coffee, tea, cold drinks, buns, biscuits and ice-cream. Sometimes during peak season we also sell sandwiches.

You can also buy a lot of different moose souvenirs in the Moose Barn. Anything from moose antlers, t-shirts, caps, cuddly toys, mugs, postcards, stamps etc.

We also sell the “Virum Moose”, handmade in wood by Daniel Henningsson, and the towel “Nature in the city”, designed by Elin Larsson. Daniel is our nephew and Elin is our niece and they are both talented artists.

WC with warm water is available.
